How tokens work

Start a game costs by size — a base token + 1 per round + 0.1 per question. Configuring is free; AI-generating a question costs ~0.1 token too.
Earn tokens by placing in Trivia Royale, plus 10 free tokens a day just for logging in, and starter tokens on signup.

What happens if I cancel? +
You keep Pro features through the end of your current billing period, then drop back to Free. No data is deleted — you can resubscribe anytime and pick up where you left off.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later? +
Yes. You can switch between Pro and Pro+ at any time from your account settings. We prorate the difference automatically.
Do players need an account to join? +
No. Players just enter the 6-character join code or scan the QR — no signup, no app download.
Do hosts need an account? +
Free hosts do not need an account. Pro and Pro+ hosts get an account automatically as part of checkout — we email you a password setup link right after.
How does Joke Karaoke work? +
Players join the same way they join Trivia — scan a QR code, enter a team name. From there, performers take turns reading a joke aloud while the audience scores their funny and their delivery on a 1-5 scale. Three modes available: random pairing, self-pick queue, and host-curated. Bundled with Pro+.
Is the Stripe checkout secure? +
Yes. Card details are entered directly into Stripe — Trivia1 never sees them. Stripe handles PCI compliance and fraud prevention.
